Come on Down!

There are lots of options for accommodation in Port-au-Prince, and here are a few we recommend

1. Stay with Us

We currently have accommodation for 4 people (single beds in a dorm setting) for a low nightly cost, and are working on adding a new guesthouse for up to 24 beds (bunk-beds in dorm setting).  It is a zero-stars experience, but so is the International Space Station-- some people are in it for the adventure!

2. Low-expense Options

Matthew 25 House (pictured in the title banner), located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, is a house of hospitality established in September, 2005 by the Parish Twinning Program of the Americas (PTPA).

Haiti Communitere ( is another very popular option for low-expense visitors and volunteers.  You can use their online registration page to book ahead (accommodation brochure here).

Haiti Communitere operates the Sustainability Resource Center in Port au Prince. Located walking distance from the international airport our center works as a hub for international groups to launch pilot projects, manage on the ground projects and network with other similarly focused in country groups. We pride ourselves in lowering overhead costs while redistributing revenue back to Haitian initiated projects
